The annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) memorializes individuals who have been killed throughout the world in the previous year because of anti-transgender hatred.
Triangle Bar Association honored our transgender community by promoting awareness and visibility in the law school lobby and providing information about the recent death of Shelley Hillard in Detroit Michigan.
November 20th is the 2011 Transgender Day of Remembrance. Because of Thanksgiving break, Triangle Bar Association will be observing TDOR on November 17th, 2011.
